6 Best Roadtrippers Alternatives in 2026

Updated 26 October 2026. Written by NomadSwipe, which is one of the apps compared, so read our own entry with that in mind.

Roadtrippers is a road trip planner with stops and paid navigation, and a free plan limited to one saved trip and three stops per trip. If you want a free place shortlist you swipe through on Android, NomadSwipe is an option, though it is not a route planner.

Roadtrippers is strongest when the trip is a route. The six apps below cover other jobs: a route planner for the car, driving directions with offline maps, a day-by-day itinerary planner, an itinerary with email import, a travel record, and a free shortlist of places you choose yourself.
